Out of Box Thinking...

Think out of the Box.. 5 beautiful HR Questions !!!

Here are some of the typical HR questions asked to find out if the candidates have "out of box" thinking capability

Question 1:

"What will you do if I run away with your sister?"

The candidate who was selected answered " I will not get a better match for my sister than you, sir."

Question 2:

Interviewer (to a student girl candidate) - What if one morning you woke up & found that you were pregnant ?

I will be very excited and take a day off, to celebrate with my husband. (Normally an unmarried girl will be shocked to hear this, but she managed it well. Why should I think it in the wrong way, she said later when asked.)

Question 3:

Interviewer: He ordered a cup of coffee for the candidate. Coffee arrived and was kept before the candidate, then he asked "What is before you?"

Candidate: Instantly replied "Tea" and got selected.

(You know how and why did he say "TEA" when he knows very well that coffee was kept before him?.
Answer: The question was "What is before you U? (-alphabet). Reply was "TEA" T (- alphabet).

Question 4:

Where Lord Rama would have celebrated his "First Diwali"?

People will start thinking of Ayodya, Mithila [Janaki's place], Lanka etc...

But the logic is, Diwali was a celebrated as a mark of Lord Krishna Killing Narakasura. In Dusavataar, Krishnavathaar comes after Raamavathaar.

So, Lord Rama would not have celebrated the Diwali At all!

Question 5:

The interviewer asked the candidate "This is your last question of the interview. Please tell me the exact position of the center of this table where u have kept your files."

Candidate confidently put one of his finger at some point at the table and said that this was the central point at the table. Interviewer asked "how did you decide that this is the central point of this table?", then he answers quickly that "Sir you are not supposed to ask any more question, as it was the last question as you promised .....

And hence, he was selected as because of his quick-wittedness.

This is what Interviewer expects from the Interviewee. ....

One Of The Best Arguments.!! I have ever read

Don’t miss even a single word…. It’s Too good

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty.
He asks one of his new students to stand and…..

Prof: So you believe in God?

Student: Absolutely, sir.

Prof: Is God good?

Student: Sure.

Prof: Is God all-powerful?

Student: Yes..

Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn’t. How is this God good then? Hmm?
(Student is silent.)

Prof: You can’t answer, can you? Let’s start again, young fella. Is God good?

Student: Yes.

Prof: Is Satan good?

Student: No.

Prof: Where does Satan come from?

Student: From….God…

Prof: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?

Student: Yes.

Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it? And God did make everything. Correct?

Student: Yes.

Prof: So who created evil?
(Student does not answer.)

Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don’t they?

Student: Yes, sir.

Prof: So, who created them?
(Student has no answer.)

Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son…Have you ever seen God?

Student: No, sir.

Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?

Student: No, sir.

Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?

Student: No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.

Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?

Student: Yes.

Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn’t exist.
What do you say to that, son?

Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.

Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Prof: Yes.

Student: And is there such a thing as cold?

Prof: Yes.

Student: No sir. There isn’t.
(The lecture the after becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat..
But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it .
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?

Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?

Student : You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright
light, flashing light…..But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it’s called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?

Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a thought.. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is
not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor.Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)

Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The class is in uproar.)

Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Prof: I guess you’ll have to take them on faith, son.

Student: That is it sir… The link between man & god is FAITH . That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

I believe you have enjoyed the conversation…and if so…you’ll probably want your friends/colleagues to enjoy the same…won’t you?….this is a true story, and the

student was none other than …….

Mobile charged with peepal leaf

Now, you do not require any mobile charger to charge your mobiles. Only there is need to use green leaf of peepal tree and after some time your mobile will get charged.
No soon the people came to learn this development, they tested it and found encouraging results. If your mobile has been discharged and you are inside a jungle then you need not to use any charger. You Should pluck two peepal leaves and your work would be done.
It is very good idea and easy to charge your mobile. You would have to open your mobile battery and connect it with peepal leaf. After that without shaking mobile set you should set the battery in your mobile set. After some time your mobile would be charged.
Though it is unbelievable but as soon as the residents of Chitrakoot came to know about the discovery they could not believe the news. But when they saw it practically then the incident proved true.
Now hundreds of mobile holders are using this technique and charging their mobiles.
Whereas according to the botanists, it is just changing mutual energy into electrical energy power can be saved in battery. Similarly, it is also possible. They said that it is the subject of research.
Step by Step guide to charge your mobile battery using peepal leaf
1- Open your mobile cover
2- Take out your battery
3- Take two to three fresh leaves of peepal/pipal/ashwattha tree
4- Touch the stub of these leaves on your mobile battery terminal for a minute
5- Clean the mobile battery terminal with the soft cloth
6- Put your battery again in your mobile and switch it on
7- Now you can see the result
8- If required repeat the process with fresh leaves

dont ask me wat is peepal leaf :P

My name is Bond. Railway Bond !!

James Bond is ready to jump from a speeding motor bike to the roof of one train and kick the bad guys on another train. Indian railways have permitted James Bond and its crew to rock ‘n roll in the Indian Trains.

Few weeks ago the filmmakers have asked permission from the Indian railway ministry to shoot on the train. Indian railways came with two conditions one is that the sequence cannot show the passengers travelling on the roof of the train. Secondly, to add a punch line such as “Indian Railways is stronger than James Bond”. Filmmakers have scrapped the earlier plan of showing the trains packed with travelers on the roof.
Dinesh Trivedi, Indian Railway minister says,”One condition for allowing the shoot is that they cannot show India or Indian Railways in bad light and the assurances will have to be given to us in writing. The film will be viewed across the world and it will seem as if all trains here have people travelling on rooftops, which is not true. Also, travelling on the roof of a train is prohibited by law and that cannot be encouraged.”
The train mostly used will be Sabarmathi in Gujarat or Goa. James bond may jump from train to huge water body.
During 1940s and 60s passengers travelled on the roof of the train which is not the same now. It is known that Hollywood directors show the third world country in the bad light (Slumdog millionaire). Whatever, now it is confirmed that James bond is now Railway Bond.

Why Human wear Clothes?

To survive in varying temperatures?. For an example there are places in the world were the summer is hot and winter is extremely cold. Then, there is next question comes, why do only human wear clothes not animals? There are many religious answers to these questions like “Because God said...”. But these answers will not be sufficient enough to complete the answer to the question.
There are many dimensions to answer these questions. Few of them are listed below.

Animals can’t make use of tools but humans have upper hand in this matter. Obviously it was easier for human to make clothes compare to other living creatures. But now-a-days crazy people force to wear clothes to their pets and you can watch monkeys use leaves to protect it from rain.
Human have less body hair compared to other mammals and we are warm-blooded animals so it is very important for us to maintain required body heat. So clothing gives us heat to keep us warm.
But most Scientist claims that Human started to wear dress to decorate them and it becomes a trend and fashion. In olden days human wear teeth, bones and even horns of dead animals to show them unique. Even today human wanted to show that he/she is unique.
Over the time the clothing reflected the standards of society status and modesty. For example in olden days, especially in India people belong to high society wear clothes to cover their upper body whereas other lower society will not allowed to wear clothing which covers their chest or upper part of the body. Gender also played a role in making different forms of clothes.
Scientist claims that people in olden days started to wear clothes to make them unique. This trend was continued even today in every culture and nation.

Farming in Mars Mission

Greatest challenging in manned mission to MARS is to supply food for the entire trip to the astronauts. Now the scientist plans to provide Hi tech “kitchen garden” for the trip where astronauts can grow their own food. The kitchen garden can produce salad and vegetables that needed for their daily diet.

Total amount of food needed for one astronaut for the entire trip is about 3,175 kilograms. It cost very high to carry food for every astronaut. NASA plan to adopt bio-regenrative system that will grow crops in space.

This is totally different from the present scenario of food processing in space shuttle and International Space Station. Nasa excepts to launch its first manned mission to Mars in the 2030s.

Hope they will take some food for Martians too.

Mobile free trip

Today’s Technology is strongly wired with us, W fear disconnecting from them. Everyone is hooked with their smart phones to check their mail, status of their ex-Girlfriend and many more. There are people who are pride to say that they used to have their mobile phones next to their head while sleeping. Despite this madness, there are few young people who want to disconnect from this chaos for little time. In India, “the peaceful trip” becomes popular where people used to take a small vacation leaving their mobile and laptop in their home. Rachel Anna Varghese, a corporate trainee went to a trip to Pudhucherry from Chennai. “It was a 3-day trip and four of us decided to completely stay off technology. When my phone went missing, I was initially restless, but eventually I didn’t care,” says Rachel to Times of India.
It is very tough for many people to disconnect with their mobile but when they are experimenting this they feel a weight was lifted from their shoulder. The most important thing one can get during this “peaceful trip” is the sleep they lost. Placing the mobile by their side while sleeping while not just affect by the radiation but also affects the sleep cycle. Dr. Badrinath Rao says if our sleep cycles are affected it will have considerable damage to our respiration rate, oxygen intake. It causes the muscular fatique and reduces concentration.
It will be terrifying sometimes but it is worth giving a try.

The Underwater

The huge underground river has been discovered by the team led by Indian scientist, Dr. Valiya Hamza. The river is believed to be flowing some 13000 ft below the mighty Amazon River in Brazil. The river is named as “Hamza” and it is believed it is about 6,000 km long covering the total surface of the Amazon. The thermal information provided by the Brazil National observatory helped the researchers to identify the movement of water 13,000 ft under the Amazon. The flow of Hamza is about 3000 cubic meters per second. The researcher claims that the river has its origin from the region Acre and reaches the sea at Foz do Amazonas flowing through the basins of rivers Solimes, Amazona and island Marajo.

National Observatory says “It is likely that this river is responsible for the low level of salinity in the waters around the mouth of the Amazon.”
However it takes at least 3 to 4 years to confirm the subterranean flow of the river “Hamsa.”

GEM OF DISCOVERY

International teams of scientist from Australia, Italy, Germany, Britain and US have discovered a planet “made of diamonds”. They reported to the Journal Science that they have unearthed a massive star in the Milky Way which is transformed into a small planet mostly consist of precious rock. They discovered a star called Pulsar and followed up their discovery using a telescope at Cheshire observatory. Pulsar is a small star which as the diameter of ten miles and emits radio waves. The diamond planet is the remains of the original star. The planet is very small and too close to the pulsar, if it is bit bigger it would have been ripped off by the gravitational pull of the Pulsar. It rotates more than 10,000 times per minute and has mass about 1.4 times of the sun. The scientist also claimed that the planet may be made up of carbon and oxygen because if the star is made up of hydrogen and helium it would be too big. The density shows that the material is likely to be crystalline which is similar to diamond.

“This remnant is likely to be largely carbon and oxygen, because a star made of lighter elements like hydrogen and helium would be too big to fit the measured orbiting times,” said research team member Michael Keith of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization in Australia.
This discovery will rise the dream of inter galactic journey for mining the precious stone. Anyhow the journey to the Diamond planet with present technology takes many light years. The cost of the diamond found in the world will be much cheaper than mining them from the far away planet.

Brahma(Creator) Writing on Forehead

In Hinduism there is a belief that each person has the “creator writing” on his/her forehead. Recently one researcher has found part of skulls which has the creator writing on it. The language is called as Bhrammi in Hinduism. There is no burial of dead body in Hinduism they used to burn them to ash. So only small parts of the skull was got and there were creator’ writing which could not be understood. In Christianity they call this as the judgment day for the soul after death.
There are various beliefs in these writings for example if the writing is cross then the person will not live long and if the writing is straight then the person lives long. Other perspectives are unknown.
You may think it is a hoax but many believe this “forehead writing” by God in Hinduism. But of course there is a question rises whether the human being of all religion has this forehead writing or only person belong to Hinduism will have this forehead written?. If it is going to be only Hindus fore head written then what about if a Hindu converts to a Christian or to any other religion?. Some may believe this is just a fairy tale but many people believe that fore head writing relates to the activities we have done in our past life.
Whatever I read about this somewhere in Internet and also collected few pictures over google. Here are some Believe it or Not

Anna Hazare 'n Jan Lok Pal Bill

10 things to know about Anna Hazare 'n Jan Lok Pal Bill.. !

1. Who is Anna Hazare?

An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War

2. What's so special about him?

He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra

3. So what?

This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills.

In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in India. It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village.

4. Ok,...?

This guy, Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social activities.

5. Really, what is he fighting for?

He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India.

6. How that can be possible?

He is advocating for a Bil, The Jan Lokpal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.

8. It's an entirely new thing right..?

In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan. Since then it has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying to change the bill to suit thier theft (corruption).

7. Oh.. He is going on a hunger strike for that whole thing of passing a Bill ! How can that be possible in such a short span of time?

The first thing he is asking for is: the government should come forward and announce that the bill is going to be passed.

Next, they make a joint committee to DRAFT the JAN LOKPAL BILL. 50% goverment participation and 50% public participation. Because you cant trust the government entirely for making such a bill which does not suit them.

8. Fine, What will happen when this bill is passed?

A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous charge, say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be appointed. The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the guilty will be punished. Not like, Bofors scam or Bhopal Gas Tragedy case, that has been going for last 25 years without any result.

9. Is he alone? Whoelse is there in the fight with Anna Hazare?

Baba Ramdev, Ex. IPS Kiran Bedi, Social Activist Swami Agnivesh, RTI activist Arvind Kejriwal and many more.

Prominent personalities like Aamir Khan is supporting his cause.

10. Ok, got it. What can I do?

At least we can spread the message. How?

Putting status message, links, video, changing profile pics.

At least we can support Anna Hazare and the cause for uprooting corruption from India.

At least we can hope that his Hunger Strike does not go in vain.

At least we can pray for his good health.

Thinking Machine

IBM Corp and 100 researchers spent some $41 million in studying and building chips which can process data as human do. Those chips can now be used in PCs and supercomputers so it will be available in the market soon. The prototypes provide importance of parallel processing and crunching of large data. So far the chips are tested by playing pong and steering a simulated car through a maze. It will take at least a decade to incorporate them into the regular gadgets.

Google will fill in your search box based on few keystrokes which is a narrow mimicry what human brain is capable. Computers can learn like human but it is not enough to think like human brain. This research has made a significant step in combining the brain science and computer.
Giulio Tononi, a professor of psychiatry says “It is not important what the chips are doing, but how they are doing it”.

Aiming for Stars

“If you want to have a hobby, why cannot it be designing an interstellar spacecraft?” said Andreas Tziolas, who teaches at University of Alaska.

DARPA, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has announced an award of $500,000 for the organization which technically, sociology and ethically send human to another star. The $500k is just initial money to conduct research. The magnitude of such research will take a century. DARPA- NASA has silently started this “100-Year Starship Study” with a three day public symposium. This doesn't alone consist of rocket technology but also legal, religious, philosophical concerns and most important thing is to inspire the public to support this costly vision. This plan has generated a buzz among the people who dream of space travel. This dream has never died and this will fuel their science fiction dream in designing spacecraft that could travel across stars.
This will be the most expensive vision in the world !!.

Skin the Culprit?

Tar residue which is banned in the cosmetics has caused the death of the Egyptian queen who lived 3500 years ago. German University student who made a research on the Hatsheput’s family who ruled upper Egypt in 15th century BC concludes that Hathshepsut’s family suffered from weird skin disease and Queen Hatshepsut had tried mixture of palm, turmeric, polyunsaturated fats and tar residue to get rid of the disease. But this led to her death. The flask which belongs to the Queen Hatshepsut had various mixture mentioned above.

University says, “It has long been known that Hatshepsut’s family suffered from skin complaints” and analysis of the contents of the flask revealed a mixture of palm and nutmeg oil, along with other polyunsaturated fats known to bring relief to people suffering from skin complaints such as psoriasis.”

Queen would have not died instantly but developed cancer by using tar residue. Now we know what caused the queen to get cancer.

Ancestors ate Tandoori Chicken!!

Cooking is not the modern day occurrence claims evolutionary biologist, Chris Organ from Harvard University. The scientists have discovered evidence which shows that humans lived 1.9 million years ago had ate their first cooked meal. The tooth size and feeding behavior of extinct primates and hominids are analyzed with the modern Human which concluded it was common that Homoerectus have cooked their food.

Chris Organ says “We see a dramatic shift in the tooth size of Homo erectus, which means it, was likely responding to a history already of eating cooked and processed food.”

This may look it is not a big discovery to Cook and Process the food but doing so will save lots of time and stored food may be used during the famine. So Homoerectus may have other jobs to do other than hunting food for the whole day which is usually done by other mammals. Processing and storing food shows that our ancestors had knowledge in famine, cyclone or any other seasonal issues.

Organ concluded saying “If you’re cooking your food you have many more hours of your day free since you don’t have to eat as much to get your daily requirements”.

Modern Science to Paralyze Sachin’s Bat!!!

England team has claimed that it had used a mathematician's modern technology to keep Sachin Tendulkar's bat silent in the Test series against the Indian cricket team. A Team analyst, Nathan Leamon used a computer stimulator which shows that Tendulkar gets first 50 runs from onside.

“We feed into the simulator information about pitches and the 22 players who might play and it plays the game a number of times and tells us likely outcomes.” Leamon was quoted as saying in a British newspaper.

So England has thrown 261 balls to Tendulkar in the test series out of which 254 balls was pitched outside his off stump, six have been in the line of the stump and one beyond the leg stump. This has not only prevented Sachin from getting his “century in century” but also made him to score very less. Leamon who is called as “Numbers” by English players has fragmented the target area of the pitch into 20 blocks which is 100cm x 15cm using his software. This provided the England players better knowledge of where to pitch the ball against the particular opponent.
But this is not really an issue to the little master as he scored 90+ in his last test match of the series thereby busted the “Computer simulation”.
Gavasker as commented that England's discovery was not a “Rocket Science”. Since most of them know that Sourav Ganguly used to play on the off-side than on-side whereas Sachin's Bat has a round top grip this gives him natural advantage of playing on the onside

Gavasakar quoted “So it's no rocket science. I'm glad it took the world to discover Tendulkar's style after he has nearly 15,000 Test runs under his belt.”

PEAK HOUR TRAVEL

Hi everyone,One evening around 6 pm I need to travel from Anna Square to my home at chitamani in 40A bus.I was standing in the bus Depot along with 100s of commuters. All of them including me were ready to grab the seat.As soon as the bus get into the Depot everyone marched towards the bus and their where some who throw their kerchief through the window and some who able to get inside throw their kerchiefs out. After some push and pull,I able to rest my back over the pole, as the bus started my eyes started roving for possible seat-quitters.The bus was jam packed,by the time the conductor had been settled in his seat near the exit. All he could freely move was his tongue, and he kept shouting at the men and the potential fare-beaters on the foot-board. Finally my stop was next as I prepared to get down my right combed hair was made to spike and my tucked shirt was tucked out.
I was reading some blogs and hearing from people who are regular commuters about grabbing the seat.

Here are some possible ways to grab the seat:

Look out for somebody who is on to a music player or reading the newspaper. If the person unplugs his earphones or closes a book or a magazine and folds it up , then you know it’s time for him to go.

If you want the seat on the women’s side, then focus on the handbag of a seated woman. If a woman is going to get down, she will take the bag from her lap, hang it on her shoulder and keep holding the front seat bar with both hands in anticipation of her stop.Dont stare at her hand bag,you may be mistaken for pickpocket.

For students, their uniform reveals their destination. So if you see a bunch of them seated, go stand next to them and butt in as soon as they stand up

Keep you ears open when some seated traveller buys ticket. Then you know where he is getting down and how soon.

If you frequent a route,it gives you a mental edge in the race for seats.

WARNING:Too many people follow the methods will spoil the guessing-game.

HAVE A GREAT TRAVEL.
